Goodfish Lake Development Corporation, now Goodfish Lake Business Corporation, has operated since 1977 with the mission of Chief Sam Bull and Council to build a strong economic foundation that creates prosperity, employment for Aboriginal people, and environmental protection, growing through seven business affiliations, including garment manufacturing, cattle ranching, laundry, and management, with key expansions since 1978 and a shift in 2012 to an Independent Board improving governance and reversing deficits, remaining wholly owned by Whitefish Lake First Nation #128 with profits supporting infrastructure, education, and growth, while continuing to serve clients like Suncor and Syncrude for over 30 years.
